Talking problem and learning english?

Question

This is my problem. i am learning english but i stutter(not that bad).
first of all, i am a shy, pretty and nice person. so, i gto a problem about school. i stutter when i talk. i dont even raise my hand or talk to other people around in my classes cuz i am scared maybe i would stutter.
i really want to talk without stutter so i dont know how.
PLS help me!

It would help to see a speech therapist to see what the underlying cause of your stutter is, then you can work on it from there. Good luck

Check out the book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" at a local public library. Check the web site for The Stuttering Foundation of America, also.

The stuttering can stop but you need to traet it in two different ways:

1- build your self-confidence (a psychologist or a counselor might help)

2- Work with a speech therapist (one may already be working at your school)

You could sing all the time. Singing naturally stops stuttering, which is really weird. But I would seek out a speech therapist to help.
