There is no real test for adhd. An mri can rule out other problems but ADHD is diagnoses by having parents, your son's Dr and the teachers(child care workers) who work with him fill out a questionaire. If you see any wierd symptoms write them down and see a dr ( some disorders need to be present for a while this will help).

there is no good reason to worry about your son, there is no test anyway. don"t jump the gun your son may be perfectly normal. when he starts school you will be able to see better if he may have problems. there is no cure for adhd. putting him on medication should be your last resort. adhd is often misdiagnosed . if a child cannot function and is a danger to himself or others medication can be a very good thing. what you really want is for him to be successful in school and happy in his life provide this for him by getting your problems under control. good luck

Way Way tooooo young. Don't put your disorder on the child. Just treat him as any normal child - no stigma. Wait...if there are major signs you will know by third grade...give the child time ok?

there's a strong chance he won't have it at all. but because it's probably something that if he DOES have it will develop in the toddler pre-K stage. just raise him how you normally would, and don't worry about it, because like i said, he could turn out fine
