Just pretend for a moment that the bible is true, that God exist, and that when judgement day comes youll be told your going to hell. What will you do then? Personally I would have a strong desire to kill God and thrown him into hell. But thats just my opinion.

I would say "You do know some of your followers are really messed up, don't you?", then we'd share a laugh and a high five.

Because if there is a perfect God, then He won't be the jealous, spiteful God everyone is spouting off about.

Ok first of all, God is a spirit entity if you believe in the teachings of the bible, therefore no killing could happen. Secondly, what are the Christians to do when they die and discover there is no Gate to Heaven or Hell?

Thirdly, why is it that people who are involved with religion continue to shove it down one another's throats without respecting other people's beliefs?

If anyone truly believes in the bible then the Twisting of the Tongues episode explains ALL of the diversity in religions. What I mean by this is because people were speaking new and barely formed languages they had to create new terms for their God and beliefs.

If you truly look at all of the world's religions they have the exact same theories and practices but use different terms.

But to truly answer your question, if I die and am faced with the Gates of the Heavens/Hell then I'd probably go "Oh well, guess I they were right, oops." I mean what else would I do?

Pretend that the myth is true and that the bible is literal?

I would tell god, "You are a tyrant. You kill the beautiful things you create and encourage violence. The bible encourages appeasement through bloodshed, fighting over the "right" religion, and tramples reason with blind faith. Most humans have overcome your ancient rules that say it's acceptable to stone men and women to death, when there was no evidence of your own existence until this moment."

I can't exactly change my fate, so there is no use in cowering to a murderer. That being said, at least I would not be stuck the worshiping gods for eternity. Instead, I'd get to hang out people who know how to reason -- and that is better than any violence the theists could devise -- because they don't get that it would be more tragic to lose reason and inquiry than it would be to feel pain.

Fortunately, religious delusions do not exist. It's all in the head of believers.

I'd debate the hell punishment for an eternity. Isn't God supposed to be fair and bring justice? If he is then he would realize that even though I didn't really believe I was a good person in life and if I'm being sent to hell just because I didn't believe, and yet he's sending a pedophile priest just because he's Christian and believes in God, well then obviously God isn't all that fair. So, save me a seat in hell....

Well, assuming that this is true, what kind of god would send people who, despite not believing in that god, which somehow counts as a sin for something that doesn't even have any evidence of existence, have lived pretty good (as in being nice to people) lives in general to burn forever? All for not believing in this god? I'd really rather not spend time with someone this self-important. If that is how I can put it. I'm not sure if peoplecan understand it, I might have garbled this while typing it...

It won't be good.
Mat 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Mat 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Luk 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

The ONLY place YOUR opinion counts is selecting Best Answer. I'm sure you don't care for my opinion, but I have given you God's word and it is NOT subject to your opinion.
It doesn't have to be this way:
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jos 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

You have until your last moment to decide. Your last moment can be today.
In His Service,
John the Baptist

No, sorry, its not true. And, even if it were, if your god is such a jerk as to send me to hell anyway, instead of being the forgiving loving being you claim he is, then I'd rather rot in hell.

Now..... there's a great movie out.... the quote is simply this...

"I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. "

I'm sure you recognize the line. Pretty much everyone has seen V for Vendetta.

But how does this apply?

Well, honey.... its quite simply this...

I must simply remark on the paradox of asking an Atheist what they would do if they should meet a god they don't believe in.

Think about it for a moment. Now do you know how stupid you sound?

i did not examine the e book you wrote, yet to respond to your tag line question........ I try this for exciting, I needless to say do not anticipate to transform all people right here to Atheism or learn something approximately faith i don't already understand. (replaced into non secular for 18+ years) that's not meant to keep the worldwide or artwork out the controversy's between Christians and Atheism. those issues will in easy terms be resolved whilst one ingredient is whipped off the face of the earth constantly. i don't see that occuring any time quickly for the two ingredient. properly.....perhaps if Islam somewhat takes to the air it may lol. yet different than that.........

WELL this is fact, when he tells you you are going to hell the only strong desire you will have is to beg for forgiveness, but then it will be too late.Seek GOD now while he can still be found..

Sophia I can tell you, what all atheists ,as well as all Christians and in fact what all the people on the entire earth, all in Heaven and all in hell will do and say on judgement day. They will bend their knee, and bow their head and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

It is not a matter of if you will , only when you will. Come to Christ and confess it now and receive everlasting life. Come to Christ.
