Yes, you have every right to refuse to answer questions which might incriminate you. However, in answer to Plea of Insanity, all states have Implied Consent laws, which require you, as a result of operating a motor vehicle on the highways, to submit to a blood or breath test to determine the alcoholic content of your blood. This is not an example of a 5th amendment right against self-incrimination.
Also, be advised that you are required to identify yourself to a police officer when asked to do so.

the 5th amendment deals with the right to NOT INCRIMINATE yourself by testimony. It is completely unrelated to anything concerning Chrysler. The critical point is that 1- Someone makes an absolutely false and illogical statement. 2- People follow right along, don't even realize the falsity.. and SHOW HOW they agree (with something that never happened!!) the unfortunate part in this is more about people acting or disputing things, when the entire bottom line of the discussion comes from fabricated information. This country is in deep ca ca.

If you have something to hide it is best to remain silent and request an attorney. You have the right to plead the fifth amendment in a courtroom if your response to a question is incriminating.

You are never under any obligation to speak with an officer. You don't need the Fifth Amendment.
But, if you are being booked, I strongly suggest you answer those questions. The are not obligated to release you, or even let you have a phone call, until booking is complete.

Amendment V
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
What this means is that you do not have to incriminate yourself in a court of law. You can also refuse to answer questions of the police. Be advised that the courts have upheld the ability of the police to collect identification data from suspects. This means you do NOT have the right to refuse to identify yourself to a police officer. If you wish to refuse to answer additional questions--THAT IS YOUR RIGHT, with rights come responsibility and consequences. You will be taken to jail, booked and presented in court for simple traffic tickets. Be smart.

Identify yourself, don't admit anything, respectfully decline in participating in a question and answer session and if they want a question and answer session ask to have a lawyer provided.
Or say I'm sorry but any question I give may incriminate me could I have an attorney present.
Someone in Vegas gave a statement but only after his lawyer had it in writing that it wouldn't be used against him, maybe OJ but not him.

Yes. But be prepared to suffer the consequences.
For example, if an officer pulls you over because your car is swerving and you refuse to take a breathalizer test (self-incrimination), then the officer can arrest you on the spot.
