i'm almost 36 weeks along and i'm getting some maternity shots done this weekend. i am a small girl with an extremely large belly, and most of the maternity pictures i've seen are of women who aren't as far along as me. i was wondering if any of you have suggestions or links to sites with pictures for poses, wardrobe, shot ideas, etc for this shoot that will make me feel more comfortable. i want them to be very "real" and comfortable, the pictures will be in black and white.
my photographer keeps asking what i want, etc, and all i know is i want them to look nice and i dont' want to look back on them and think wow i was so huge and i looked so bad!
any suggestions?

I agree about your photographer. It's ok to ask what you have in mind, but to keep asking what you want seems to imply that he/she has no ideas or experience of their own. Have you seen a portfolio of your photographer's work? Did you like it?

Your belly will be beautiful! I have seen shots at term which were just wonderful. Google maternity photography and you should get plenty of hits. On photo.net, I have seen some outstanding maternity work, of both nudes and the garden variety more modest shots.

A common wardrobe accessory is a big white button-up shirt. Also clingy tank tops or sweaters. Often, tulle, linen or some other fabric is used as a drape.

Have fun at your shoot, and congratulations and best wishes to you and baby!

remember demi moore on the cover of vogue? i think it was vogue. anyway, that was the most beautiful picture of a pg woman i've ever seen.
if you want more, just google pics of pg women. there must be something.
congrats on the babe.
