il papa, they say...you must take your seat among the holiest of men and some of the worst scoundrels to ever live.
Would you accept their decision and if so what changes would you dictate to the people of the Catholic faith?
Would you agree to remain celebate for the job? I heard christian girls put out like mad anyway, and the pope used to run whore houses so you DO have the option of starting that up again.

First of all, I would allow Catholics to use condoms, in order to practice safer sex.
Next, I would declare that any representative of the church could wear no white
Next, I'd find a more suitable attire for myself, no fine linen of gold, or silk.
Next, I'd give all of the gold that the church has back to the people, so that Jesus would have many more souls to visit in order to re-acquire his just rewards.
Next, I'd declare that the Vatican be filled with gorgeous young virgins, in order to test my faith every moment of every day.
Next, I'd give a speech to the followers of the Catholic Church that all child molesters within the church will be publicly hanged - and that the use of guilt to obtain anything was sacrilegious.
Next, I'd have a party !
Next, I'd get me some well deserved sleep. With 7 virgins watching over me.

That would be a first....an Anglican Pope!
Yes, if it was the Mind of the Church in the College of Cardinals....yes. I would.
I would not divorce my wife...and we would immediately return to the teachings of the Catholic Church from the beginning and all Priests can get married.
And I'd stay married, just like St. Peter.
That would take care of 90% of the problems right there.

I have no interest in being a pope and they wouldn't want me as a pope.
Just for the sake of discussion:
End Mary worship
Make the bible as the only Truth needed.
Man-made traditions would end.
Idols would no longer be worshipped.
(No more putting candles around trees with mold on them (the shape of a face).
Jesus is the only way to salvation.

Great question!
I'd apologize for giving Christianity a bad name because the former popes started the crusades. Today, Muslims blame all Christians for it when in fact it was the RCC.

I would accept my new position with honor and dignity. The only thing I would change is thinking that homosexuality is a sin, when it is not ( scientific evidence supports this). I would waive the celibacy rules just because I'm the pope and I'm cool to do that.

I would sit in Peter's chair and speak ex cathedra. I would declare that praying to saints is wrong. I would say that Mary being sinless was wrong. I would state that priests remaining celibate is a choice not a command. I would then say that Sola Scriptura is the way to go. And last but not least I would declare that after I finish speaking papal infallibility no longer exists.
