im friends with this girl on facebook and i want to talk to her but i just dont know what to say to start off without sounding weird

what is the problem??? how can saying hello be considered weird --- especially as you already know the lady --- say hello and see what happens if she wants the conversation to continue she will go from there

Just say hey and that you thought you'd introduce yourself (if u guys just now accepted the friend request, say thanks for the add). Say what's up or ho'ws it going. Eventually in this message or later on, a message or two down the road, ask her if she has AIM or yahoo messenger and talk to her online etc. etc. Good luck!!
