If you are a healthy weight for you than no don't diet. Exercise is important for both your health and appearance, skinny flab looks just as bad as fat flab.
Get your hair done at a good place where they are continually educated on the new styles and go to a fashionable store that won't break the bank like fashion bug and try some new styles.
You will be fine and in a few years they will think you are 25.

In what way do you look older? Some of it can be haircut, clothing style, weight or facial expression. If it is hairstyle, go to a stylist and ask for a younger, hipper style. If you are greying early, you may consider dying your hair a little. If it is clothing, ask friends or go to a small clothing store and ask for help with more youthful (but not TOO youthful or you'll look funny) clothing. If it is physical and you already exercise, try drinking more water since being dehydrated will make you look older.
Lastly, I said, "facial expression" because I know from experience that my general look of concentration can look like a scowl (genetics - my cheerful mom is the same way) which makes me look older. I have to concentrate on making my inner feeling of happiness come out as a smile instead of a scowl. Good luck and be happy!

I will be turning 40 this Halloween and people think I am in my 20's. I have a short punky haircut, I think that helps. Attitude also has a lot to do with how someone ages. I once receive a fortune cookie that read "You are only as old as you act", and that is so true.

whiten your teeth (always makes people look younger), watch "What not to wear" (they have great advice), go to a fancy salon and tell them you want a new do that is flattering to you (don't skimp on this or god knows what you could end up with), get a chemical peel (pretty drastic, but I guess the results are GREAT....go to a licensed dermatologist if you decide to do this though)

Well if you are a guy, shave and dress more hip. Shorter hair cuts, no Grey hair and a trimmed beard will always make you look younger.

Try some facial cremes or try to learn some facial relaxing techniques, being overly tense can also make you seem older.

I don't know your lifestyle but drink more water and stop smoking. Smoking is horrible for your skin, especially for women.
