What does my boyfriends dream mean?

He told me that he had this dream about me:

I was in a plane, saving the world, but I was texting him. It was also on the news and suddenly the report said that they we're loosing contact with me. He was incredibly worried, but then I texted him again saying that the planes would be landing soon, and he rushed to the airport to meet me, and we hugged, then he woke up.

What do you think?

I'm not dominant really, we both have equal push and pull most of the time, but we know which strings to pull. Even so, we never abuse our power, but he's going back to school next week, and the only reason he's so focused is me. We both have a lot of power over each other, but like I said its not abused, and its not usually used in our decision making, we base things on the the more reasonable option.

When I left to go for the Army, I had life situations so different and not in common with my family, that I lost touch with them emotionally even when I came back home. My brother especially. Emotional distance was created and has not been healed so easily since.

Something may happen where you may go through turbulence in your life or changes and this would make you want to turn away from him. Could either be a medical emergency (maybe coma), could be a change in religion or beliefs between you two that may cause distance.

Could also mean that distance is needed to regain the intimacy of your relationship but doing so may mean possible times where neither you may run back to each other.

The problem with dreams is they have multiple meanings and can mean many things at once and everything is blended together (there is no separation between what one thinks and imagines in their head and what one sees in a dream. You could see a wall and for some reason think of a rubber duck and the duck will appear. Best example I can think of.)

He may be into some issues about decision making. Projecting you being the hero shows low self esteem of him. In other words, he is seeing himself as a side character. On one hand, he just wants to be your mental support, but on the other hand, you seem to make lots of decision making when it comes to relationship.
