Im starting work soon and don't think i'll need the benefits that they offer because I have health, dental and vision from my husbands plan. If I choose not to take it will I make more money?

Some, but not all companies have a policy that offers additional compensation for employees that choose not to participate in employer-paid health care. Check with your HR department to see this company's policy.

Maybe, but probably not. Some companies have what they call cafeteria plans for benefits, that give you a choice of which benefits you take - in place of med insurance you might be able to choose something like extra vacation time. Not all companies have this. If they didn't mention it, they probably don't, but you could call the HR department and ask.

It depends on what plan your new employer has set up with the insurance company. Most employers will pass on some of the cost of insurance to their employees. For instance, at my job the cost for health/dental insurance is around $70.00 every two weeks. I do not have any insurance through them so that $140.00 a month is not deducted from my check.

That's up to your employer.

Most benefits have some costs involved so if you pass on the benefit you won't pay the associated costs. Any that are fully employer paid may not entitle you to additional pay if you refuse the benefit.

Probably not. But, if you are ellibible for health coverage, there is a very good chance that you are no longer elligible for your husband's. Once my wife went back to work and had insurance available, I was not allowed to keep her on my plan at work.
