If a guy is staring at me forever and starts making me uncomfortable I will roll my eyes. I think it's just RUDE to stare, people forget their manners I guess. When I was single it really didn't bug me but now I'm married and it's irritating. If they are just glancing or looking at me then smiling friendly I politely smile back (so you guys know Im not just being a b*).

yeah the majority of the time its old farts! i look pretty young i guess thats why. and NO i dont have a big ego Im actually very insecure in my skin and when someone, anyone stares too long it makes me uneasy, but especially men because i know men think about sex so much,

How are they supposed to know that you are married? Do you have a really big ring, and do you keep your hand visible at all times? Probably not.
You could try holding your ring finger up. It would be more obvious to the guy as to what you mean if you did this instead.
Some teenagers and young men have ADD and tend to stare off into space at nothing in particular. Just because they are looking in your general direction does not mean that they actually see you -- so rolling your eyes wouldn't affect them anyway.

Old men don't think about sex near as much as young men do. Our hormone level is much lower, and sex is not a novelty to us anymore.

Hopefully, you taught this guy a lesson not to stare too long. Or maybe next time, He'll show a little respect. Maybe this guy was used to girls who like being starred at like a piece of meat. He found out that it doesn't work with every girl out there.

Exact same boat here sweetie. Anyone that tells you this is rude just doesnt get checked out regularly! You cant blame guys for looking and naturally they will check you out, but staring is never acceptable, its totally okay to roll your eyes. Sometimes they just don't get it. Ive even had to confront people about it before and I'm not a rude person, but its invasion of privacy! What your doing is perfectly acceptable, dont worry :)

well i wouldnt say its rude but i suggest if a guy is staring at u then if he's close by and you dont mind him and maybe you being a bit embarassed then just look him in the eyes and go "what?" or mouth the word what

Just take the stare as a compement and smile back its up to him if he wants to think that you are avaliable or not, and up to you to enjoy it or not. It makes for a better community.
Just a tip though, a stare can be really good for your immage, not that you want any immage but it may rub off on your husband as desirable later.

why roll your eyes, or mutter? that seems kind of conceited: you're desired - big deal, the world still rotates, no matter another's thoughts. so long as they don't act too aggressively, you could just ignore them. or smile ... and convey in a pleasant way their advances or ogling aren't welcome. if the person's not quick enough to get that ... then I guess do what you need to ... but then muttering at that person would be kinda a natural response to unacceptable behavior.

if the guy is checking you out like your steak, i usually roll my eyes or flip him off. Staring is impolite. But if he's cute and you reciprocate interest... then go for it
