I'm a huge Sony fan and I want to know if I should wait a little longer to get it or buy it now.

Buy it later, the only drawback is glitches with the backward capability (i think you can still play ps1/2 titles) buy one now and the good games doesnt' come out late 07 and 08. with highly expected exclusives coming out next year, it wouldn't hurt to wait a while. graphics in ps3 will be much better and there will be awsome titles. But now that ive realized that you are a huge sony fan, then i say buy it, after all, it's a duty as a fan.

i got it once i had the money saved up i had been saving since the first due date and then when it finally came out i still didn't have enough but got it in january. Anyways i say get it now the 60 gig is the perfect ps3 because not only does it play more of the ps1 and 2 games but it just the right price and remember some stores offer the 5 free blue rays movie with the purchase of a ps3. So i suggest you get it now and not wait because if you wait until laters then you won't have the cash to buy all the game coming out...all of the games are suppose to be coming out in the next couple of months so my suggestion is to get it now bro!!! it worth every dollar i love mine and that because i can't play it everyday!!!

If you wait longer you can get the 40 gig version at 399.
Don't know if it's just a smaller Hard drive or if they take out features. You'll have to wait for that.
Metal Gear Solid is coming out. Resistance fall of man is a great shooter (32 person online play), which is free and Rumble will be coming out next year. I guess Rachet and Clank is a good game too, but it's whatever for me. Also Final Fantasy is way out there. No word if it's going to be on 360.
So it all depends on which type of games you like. Or it can be a cheap Blu Ray player for you.

It's better to buy one know, because Sony, due to cost reduction plan, removes RSX chip (PS2/PS1 backwards compatibility) from US and Japanese versions. 60 Gb has it. 80 Gb and 40 Gb won't. European version didn't have that chip since the beginning.

get the PS3 screw 360 all they got is halo 3 big f*** deal one great shooting game.blue dragon,Mass effect Rpgs wow..
Ps3 got shooters too Haze,killzone 2,Infamous,unreal tournament 3,metal gear solid four,Resistance 2,Rachet and clank, all of these are great games and exclusive. PS3 fot FFXIII and versus and FFVII remake, Free online and has 0.012% chance of breaking no red ring of death their wirless reciever and hi def dvd blue ray player all built in.

buy it now...i bought it when they did the price cut.
60gb....$499 is perfect.
u don't need more, or less. It comes with everything....There holiday line up and there spring line up is pretty good.
