With a compound fracture and fingers that were almost ripped off? Ummm....this question lacks common sense. I'd be happy if he was ready to go next season.

It would be awesome if he did, but I dont see him doing anything for awhile. A compond fracture is really bad. Plus some of his finger were ground off to the bone. I read the article in the Dallas Morning News and saw a interview in the hospital, he looks bad. He might, I say might be able to come back next year. Knowing him he will be back next year very determined to win another championship.

No, with bones that are healing no doctor in the world would clear him to be subjected to 7Gs. Without the approval of a doctor the NHRA would never allow it. They can build a special car and Force might be willing and able..but his doctors and the NHRA are going to be a little less keen.

I heard he's going to miss the final 2 races of the season. He won't be back racing until next season.

With his injuries, he will be doing a lot of rehab for a while. I don't expect him to race this year and maybe retire after his recovery

Lets see, 2 broken legs and an arm? I think we might just have to wait til next year to see him out on the track.

He is done for this season, and maybe more depending on the nerve damage he received.
