He has pancreatitis, and has just had a flare up. It is better now, only a little pain. He is back to work now. But it's so strange, it FEELS just like when a baby moves. I can feel it, and see it. He says that he doesn't feel gassy at all, and is having regular bowel movements. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. He says it doesn't hurt, but is irritating...he asked if I had any idea how irritating it is...as the mother of 3, I do.

I'd guess it's just gas in his system, or undigested food. You could ask the doctor.

If he's the first man to get pregnant, you guys'll be FAMOUS!!

Make him clarify what he means by regular bowel movements. Most people have their own idea. If he isn't poppin' at least twice a day, and if they are large movements he isn't regular. Some people honestly things a couple of times a weeks is normal. Perfect bowel movements occuring shortly has eating, but twice a day is good enough as long as they large enough.

It sounds like he is backed up with gas or other ickiness. Try getting him to drink lots of water, give him a laxative, and eat things that easy to digest like soups. If this keeps up he need to be seen by a doctor he could have a minor blockage.

Probably his stomach muscles are contracting as it may have to handle whatever incorrect secretions are coming from the pancreas.

I have noticed that type of contraction when I get nausea during a migraine headache - in my case, PeptoBismol calms it down, but in your husband's case, there is a much more fundamental underlying issue.

Report it to his doctor, espeically if it is a new symptom - it may be significant, and something the doctor should know about.

S/he can probably ease the issue even if it is not too significant. Might be as simple as an adjustment of whatever meds he has to take - could be a side effect of that.

Good luck!

A serious condition may be!
To rule out any hazardous cause it's wiser to check his abdomen by an Abdominal MSCT 64 Slices Scan. The doctor may indicate a Virtual coloscopy to find out if he has colon neoplasms or not.

Hope that may help you!
Good luck!
