how much would a "lion cut" cost for a persian/himalayan cat usually cost. im in CA thanx

i live in kind of a small city and right now some places are closed AND the ones that ARE open only do dog grooming. but, yes,ive already checked in to it.

torbaynewfs~~ we do have 2 other short hair cats.we just want a break from daily brushing.

I know the cat's don't really like getting clipped down. But sometimes it is the only thing to do when they are matted. Most of the shops charge around $40. Depending if your cat needs sedation. In this case it should go to a vet's office for grooming. It will cost extra for sedating. Busy grooming shops are sometimes noisier and with dogs there barking. Cat's prefer a quieter and calmer atmosphere. Then scowl at you later. meooow

The price varies all over the USA.
Actually, your vet's technicians may be able to do this for you for a minimal cost.

Why do people get a "coated" breed of cat and then have all its coat shaved off????????
They do make short-haired cats...no shaving necessary!!!
Yeah...daily brushing is a drag. Good to consider before getting a coated cat. Seems everyone is on the "shave the cat" bandwagon lately! Poor cats!!!!

i would guess around $30-40...maybe more...if you're up for it i gave my hymalayan a lion cut...he looks pretty good and it was free. but he has a good tempermant so it was pretty easy.
