The term wasn´t applied back then, but yes - in todays terms the americans would be terrorists. Now they have just moved the terrorism to other countries like Iraq, small african and south american states, Asia, etc.

No - we were disloyal rebels who declared independence. Terrorists are not state-based. We had an army. Terrorists are not in an organization.

You might try understanding what defines a terrorist first.
