It would normally be deductible as a medical expense. You can only deduct the portion of your medical expenses that's over 7.5% of your adjusted gross income, and then only if you itemize.

What is TMJ therapy? If it's a medical expense, it can be included in with all your other medical expenses and the total can be reported on Schedule A - Itemized Deductions - line 1 - medical and dental. You can deduct the amount of medical deductions that exceed 7.5% of your AGI, but you only get a benefit from the deductible medical amount if you itemize.
