Fishers live in deep woods, not cities or rural areas. They're relatives of mink.

If you have fishers around, you also have coyotes around which are FAR more deadly to house pets than the fishers are. Fishers don't live in every state, either. You can check with your local Department of Natural Resources whether or not you have any in your area.
