Okay, so I am soooooo skinnnnnnnnny!!!!
I hate it. I am 16. i am about 5'6 and a half and i weigh about 95-100 pounds varying on the day, but normally about 100. I eat alot and i mean alot of food. i always have eggs, ommlette in the morning, a few muffins in the car. St school, i have a sandwich with meat, chips and cookies, a large container of fries from McDonalds and a cheese burger after school, and then normally alot of nuts when i get home. then i normally eat some ice cream, and have pasta/pizza for dinner. I am always embarrased to wear certain clothes because i look really thin in them, like tank tops. Also, people always refer to me as "that really skinny girl". I mean, i can't even wear a size 0...
What can i do to gain weight!?!?!??!?!

wow we must be twins! I am also 5 ft 6 and weight about 95-101 pounds at any given time. People have asked me if I have an eating disorder but I eat a normal amount at school and eat tons when I get home, yet I can't put on weight. I have been drinking ensure plus once a day which adds a ton of calories (like 300) to my daily intake and I have been doing weightlifting. I haven't gained any weight (even lost a few pounds maybe :[) but I have more muscle and it looks like I weigh a tad bit more than I do (i think). I am 15 and I'm hoping I'll fill out. I used to be 5 ft 5 and like 90 pounds, so I have gained weight, and I'm sure you will too eventually. When you are older everyone will be envious of your high metabolism :]

it sounds like you're either very active or have a high metabolism to be burning so many calories. I'm 24 years old, 5'3" and recently down to 101lbs. I've been trying to gain weight too. U can go to a health store and buy bulking supplements or try to burn less calories (aka turn into a couch potato) OR Accept your body the way God made it. Look at Tyra Banks, she was tall and thin and Dorky looking until she hit her teens and became this beautiful Super Model. That could be you! Ignore those insensitive comments, grow a thick skin and learn to be comfortable in it! Serious, I'm sure you're a knock out, if not now, then in a couple years. and you can throw that in all those peoples faces at your 10 year HS reunion. They'll be fat and unhappy and you'll be tall and thin!

As a high school teacher, I see a lot of girls (and boys for that matter) that begin their high school careers having not yet "filled out," but i promise, they all do before they graduate. Your body is still growing; just let it take its course. I would also advise you not to eat muffins, chips, fries, cheesburgers, ice cream, and pizza every day! My goodness! You may not be putting on weight, but that doesn't mean all the refines sugar and processed foods you are putting in your body are healthy. Just give it time, and eat more substantial foods like lean meat, fruits, nuts, veggies, and whole grains :)

Many teenagers have a very high metabolic rate and so find it difficult to gain weight but as they grow older, they start putting on weight naturally. Check out http://www.myweight.info for more information on gaining weight.

Go to bodybuilding.com, or GNC, buy some weight gainer, take alot of it, and eat fast food.
