Fullerton to Fresno is about a 5 hour trip driving at the legal speed limit.
(with all respect to "Smashley", Fresno is on Highway 99, not Interstate 5.)

That depends on the time of day, the traffic, the weather. Are you going the direct route, the scenic route. Fresno is mile marker about 150. on 99. Fullerton is in the LA bundle. About the 116 on I5. Which makes it about 260 miles. I believe the 99 meets the I5 at the 225. Normal traffic 6 hours.

I used to make that drive frequently when I went to school there and my parents lived in San Francisco. W/O traffic it'll take about 6.5 hours with traffic it could easily take 9 or 10. Leave in the after noon around 11-12 is you should be in SF by about 6.
