When I don't know what a linear foot measurement is?

a linela foot or meter is just the length. If your fence is 25 foot long a linael foot measurement would be 25 lineal foot.

well the perimeter would be 24 ft (6+6+6+6). So 24 feet at 9 bucks per foot would be 216 dollars. =]

I assume your fence is 6ft. height, 6ft, in length.
The length is linear feet.
$54.00 sounds CHEAP.
Something is amiss, unless there are horizontal panels in multiples, and each panel is calculated in linear feet @9.00 per lineal feet. A whole new ball game.
In that case, don't know how many panels are needed.
