I call that "too much information"- knowing too much of your neighbor's private business has nothing to do with not loving him (or her), it has to do with people not knowing when to keep their 'stuff' to themselves. It just makes anyone uncomfortable.
I would feel that way about anything - ie. loud fights, etc.
You still love people nonetheless. But that doesn't mean you can't confront them and tell them that they are making you uncomfortable with all the 'sharing'.

Well, our houses are close together, and unless their party spills out onto the front lawn, we really don't hear much from inside their house. A man's home IS his castle (or her castle, as the case may be). What goes on there is really none of my business, unless he/she chooses to make it my business!
In other cases (not involving loud sex), "loving your neighbor" can be as simple as offering them some tomatoes out of your garden, or giving them a ride to work when their car breaks down, or bringing their spaniel back after she has broken her chain for the third time.
Such is loving one's neighbor in a small town, gay or otherwise.
