I've never even had a cavity before but my tooth hurts when i bite down and I'm pretty sure it's a cavity. I have a great new dental plan but it doesn't go into affect for another whole month. What should I do? Should I pay the whole amount for the cavity filling or whatever...or should I tough it out? I'm pretty sure you're supposed to get them taken care of or they get a lot worse, right?

It will be fine, just brush regularly, floss, and mouth wash.

If the cavity isn't that bad then it shouldn't get all that worse in one month. Just take good care of your mouth and you definitely can wait it out.

Nurse it along with Hydrogen Peroxide, use instructions on the bottle, till your insurance takes affect.
