i wouldnt, they dont even go to places i beleave need help, if it was me, id want to fight for peple who cant fight for them selves,
ie zimbarbwe, sudan, barma, places were help is needed.

And don't forget to include young punks who have no love of country or social skills, the ones that think the government owes them a living yet they mock tradition and trash anything meaningful in life...

The ONLY rational reason to join the military now, at a time of war is to serve your country in the MOST NOBLE WAY POSSIBLE, by risking your life. For those that do, I thank you. The question should be, what is going through the minds of all those soldiers in Iraq who joined the military for a quick buck or an cheap education, never thinking that we would be in another war. Those soldiers have the wrong attitude and could get the people who belong on the lines, protecting our way of life, injured or killed.

YES, I would join the military today. I don't because I would not be excepted, however I feel that what ever you may feel or believe one truth stands above all others. It is only here that you have the right to believe those things and if you arn't willing to stand up for those freedoms you don't deserve those freedoms in the first place.

I'm already being very successful in the Army. I would like to reenlist. As for Africa, I say Britain needs to clean up there own mistakes. That's why we're still in Iraq rather then just leaving.

Then join the UN peace keepers and you should be able to go to the places you mentioned. IF I could join I would join the military just not the Army, they do not have the same training or opportunities as some other branches.

Africa does need help but the blue caps should be helping you out
