1040 ez has nothing to do with your credit cards, it's just a simplified form for people with no deductions (ie. mortgage interest, children, etc.) Also, your taxible interest from savings accounts must be less than $1500 annually.

Yes, as long as you meet all the requirements for filing on a 1040EZ. If your interest from the bank accounts totals under $1500 for the year, you can show it on a 1040EZ. Having credit cards doesn't affect your tax return so that part doesn't matter - credit card interest isn't deductible on any form.

The number of credit cards has nothing to do with the 1040EZ. The number of banks doesn't matter either, but if you have interest income larger than $400 or income more than $50000 then you can't.
