Sure the word says when "2 or more pray"..but what about praying yourself and believing God hears it as well as He does 2 or more? Where is our authority?!! To me,constantly asking prayer requests shows lack of faith.

1st Thes. 5:17 says Pray without ceasing. Yes as a Born Again Christian we have power with God, we are sons and daughters of Jesus Christ. Lack of Faith comes in when we don't believe our Prayer will be answered. I have prayed for a certian person to be saved for years. I Pray for him to be saved today. I know he will be because I already Prayed it in Faith, but I would want him to be saved today so I pray. Now I have had times when Jesus showed me that it was time to stop praying for something. Remember how the Apostle Paul started off almost all of his writings saying he was praying for the Church he was writing to and how he always mentioned them in his Prayers. Keep sending those Prayers up to God. If he wants you to stop, he will show you. Just believe when you pray them and an answer may come. God bless and Praise the Lord. You know, Blessed, Jesus himself prayed all night. He even asked his disciples "couldn't you pray with me one hour?"
Jesus also prayed for the blind man twice.
Jesus went to the mountains to pray.
Daniel prayed for three weeks for an answer. He had an excellent spirit...God sent Michael to finally win the day for Daniel. God told him right there why he did not get a speedy answer. We are in a spiritual warfare these days like as never has been.
Jacob wrestled all night with the angel...and sometimes we have to intercede all night long. Weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning.
God is calling us to intercession and that can mean long hours of prayer.It isn't a lack of faith it is a war with the powers and principalities of darkness. If we fail to intercede and pray someone could really suffer for it. We must stand at our post.
Yes there is a time to speak the word with authority, as the man that told Jesus, Lord just speak the word and my son will be healed...and he was.
You have to pray as the Holy Spirit leads you to pray, then it is anointed and the anointing destroys the yoke.

Well, the bible says you have not because you ask not. The power comes from prayer and from our faith. The belief in knowing that our prayers are answered. Also, prayer is not just about asking God for things and pleading with him for stuff, its supposed to be the way of having a relationship with him so prayer is necessary for the growth of our relationship with Christ.

it also says if 3 or more pray God will answer and to pray with out ceasing. I think it is good to pray for others and be aware of their needs it helps us keep our own in perspective,

Many of Christan's are still on milk, they are dying because of a lack of knowledge. They do not realize that we have all power in Jesus name. Sista keep on believing God for our Brothers and Sista`s in Christ and I will also!

Jesus commanded us to pray without ceasing, and at LUKE Chapter 18 used the example of the persistent widow as to how we should continue to pray and never give up.

being brothers and sisters in christ, we are supposed to pray for one another. why do you think they have prayer lists at church.
