is anyone else doing the see you at the pole tomorrow?? To stand and show people you believe in God and not care?? I am but is anyone else as scared as I am?!?!?

wow I should have added something haha. umm no you stand at your flag pole at school and stand up for God and show you believe in him. I am homeschooled and I don't have to go all day with people talking about me and asking me. But the school I am going to is stright out rude. Everyone i know things the same way. This school is unlike any other school. But last year I did it and I wasn't scared. But this past year I was talking to some people who think my religion is a joke and stupid. So they just kept telling me that and those people go to that school and I am just scared of what will happen tomorrow. I know that I want to stand up for what I believe I just am scared of what is going to happen. Sorry if this sounds stupid but it's just how I feel............

My AP US History teacher is the organizer for the one at my school... I will not, in fact, see anyone at the pole, because A) that would require me to get up an hour early, and B) I'm not Christian, nor do I belong to a religion that uses prayer.

I actually organized the first at my school, in 1992. I'm Pagan now. I remember it was very powerful, and we had the news media come out. 400 kids around the pole, praying! I hope your prayers are only kind, and I hope everything goes okay for you.

I am NOT afraid to stand and show people that I believe in God!!!! I am a Christian and love Jesus Christ as my Saviour and will always no matter what other people say!!!
I would be willing to die for Him anytime!

...'the pole'? What exactly is this pole? Do you stand at the top of a super high pole without railings on it swaying in the wind without anything attaching you to there and do tricks on it?

What are you scared of? I'm a teacher and they do it at my school. I don't participate, but a lot of the students do.
