13-18 midnight
13 and under 11
5 and under 8 p.m.

what do you think, do you think it's a good curfew.
my biggest question was does it count for your own home. i saw it on the news and it said, if a child is found outside after the curfew, with no parent outside then the police could take the child to a safe place. i think that this is a pretty good curfew, unless it includes the own home. we were aloud to play in our yard late at night, we always have weenie roast and we are out till like 2 in the morning and our parents are inside. i am 17 my sister is 14 and my other sister is 6.

what do you guys think.

by playing in the own yard i meant. like do you think it's alright for a 6-13 year old to be outside if the parent is in the house, and checks on the every so often.

I feel there should be city curfews Im all for them. And I am all for police picking up kids that are out past curfew. I am NOT all for a 13 yr old 14 yr old being out til midnight. When I was growing up if the street lights came on we were supposed to be in our house. The only way we could be outside is if we were in our backyard or if our parents were with us. A 6 yr old does NOT need to be outside til 11pm nor does a 7 or 8 yr old in fact I dont think a 12 yr old needs to be out side at 11pm either! I do however let my 16 and 17 yr old nephews stay out til midnight as long as I know where they are!

I don't really think anyone under 5 should be out on their own in the first place, let alone until 8 PM. I definitely think it is a very lenient curfew. If it were up to me, I'd have the 13 and under set in by 10 at the very latest, but midnight seems reasonable for the teens.

I don't know what kind of parent would let a child under 5 outside by thereselves at any time. I wouldn't unless they had an adult with them or a mature teenager. Also 11:00 is pretty late for someone between the ages of 6 and 13...There are alot of crazies out there. I don't think those curfews are too good. Here in my town if you are under 18 you can't be walking around after 10 p.m. and I live in a small safe town.

Never would I let a 13 year old stay out until midnight! When I was a teenager I had to be home by 9:30 on school nights. 10:30 on the weekend. And before that I had to be home when the street lights came on. 5 year olds should be in bed by 8:00!!!

11 is a little late for a 10yr old but i would have no problems letting my kids stay out until midnight. 5yr old however should be in be in bed by 930 or so. as a teen my cerfew was 12am on week nights and 2am on the weekends and even then my mom was lucky if i was home by 2... id usually just sleep where i was and come home in the morning.

the 13-17 would be good for 11
but 18 you kind of need to let the kids make their own decisions.
or else they may turn on you.
but dont let anyone be going out without an adult from 12 and under, no matter what the circumstance is.

I have to say there is no way on earth would allow my 13 - 16 year old out until midnight.

11-13 would be in doors by 9pm and 5 and under would be in by 6pm and in bed by 8.

I live in the middle of no where so we dont have curfews. I get to be out as long as I want.
