Jews where first, then Catholics broke off of them. Catholics are Christians (because they believe in Christ), but Christians are not always Catholics. (kind of how squares are rectangles but rectangles aren't always squares) Christians weren't individualized until the whole protest thing called The Great Schism. after that, Christians where people who believed in Jesus Christ as their saviors, Catholics follow the Pope, and Jews are still waiting for their Messiah/savior. i hope that helped =]

Catholics are Christians who have a slightly different doctrine, but who also know that salvation is through Jesus Christ the Messiah alone.
Christians know that salvation is through Jesus Christ the Messiah alone. Christianity, as well as the Catholics, stem from the Jewish.
Judiasm - Believes everything in Old Testament, but believes that the Messiah has not yet come. When Messiah come, he will bring salvation.

Catholics are Christians. Christians are followers of Christ. Catholicism is one of the denominations of Christianity, albeit the largest. Judaism is the religion Christianity stems from; Jews and Christians believe in the same God, share the same Abrahamic roots, and share the Old Testament (which Jews refer to as the Torah). Christians also have the New Testament, which serves as a reference and guide to the life and teachings of Christ.
EDIT: CJ is a troll. Pay him no mind.
EDIT: GJ... just because Catholics follow the pope doesn't mean they don't follow Christ, or consider him to be their Savior. To say otherwise is to be ignorant of basic Christian theology and history.

A Christian is a person who has the indwelling Holy Spirit and thereby believes that Christ is God, that he resurrected from the dead (and is alive today) and was born of a virgin (establishing his sinless nature).
It is unlikely that an orthodox Jew will believe this but there is every chance that a Roman Catholic might believe this.

OK the Jews started it all, one god, rules for life and all that. But they are nice people and tend to leave you alone. some people didn't like being nice and thought everyone should think like them so the made up this Jesus guy and started the Cathoholics. they killed millions spreading Jesus's love and taught their followers that if a person didn't believe as you do you should hate them. After a few hundred years they kind of settled down stopped killing and became a little likable. This made some people very unhappy, because they like killing and hating so they became christians. And whenever a sect of Christianianity doesn't hate enough they start a new sect. And that't why there so many sects of christians.

Judaism was the first Abrahamic religion. Part of their belief rests in the Old Testament.
Christians come in two major varieties: Catholics and Protestants. The Catholic Church added the New Testament to the old and called it the Bible. The Protestants broke away from the Catholic Church in the 1500's and have since created many versions of the Bible.

Catholics are a flavor of Christianity, and Christians believe in Jesus, while Judaism follows the old testament and does not believe in Jesus.

Christianity - The truth of Jesus and the Bible
Catholicism - Babylonian pagan cult with a false gospel of works that leads to eternal hell
Judaism - A false system that relies on works for salvation, and so far refuses to receive Jesus as Messiah (this will change)
