There's a lesson learned then. Your life is obviously not about wanting something for you and then getting it. Therefore your life is about giving not receiving. Try changing course. Go out there into your world and see what you can "give" to help others, without expecting anything in return. Its not about giving money either, its more about giving your time, your friendship, your skills, to help others. When you go to sleep at night you will realise you have given yourself something by doing things to help others that day - ie your life has valuable purpose. And then keep an open mind and see how your life changes for the better.

Because our materialistic goals and desires will always lead to pain and suffering. Happiness does not come from a high paying career and a BMW.
Be good to your fellow man and all living creatures, want for nothing and you will know happiness.

stick around; a new reason will arise. you can always check out, but what if you can't get back in again? take a day to relax, hang out in the park, skim the magazine rack, go to an art gallery... if you really need to, talk to a counsellor. Rough times can be overcome; I lost an entire decade in depression and bleakness. It can get better.

Life is not about what you want. It is a learning place, makes you a better person. The harder life is for you ... the more you need to learn.
Not everyone is born with a gold spoon in their mouth. You might have to work harder to achieve it. God Bless

If it did, wouldn't it be totally predictable and boring? You can't have ups without downs, into each life a little rain must fall etc (many a true word spoken in cliche). What can we do to cheer you up??

What if you stop wanting? If you did, that wouldn't happen and maybe your life would have a point again.

There's more to life than just getting what you want, the way you want it.
Personally, I find it fulfilling to serve others.
Sometimes, knowing what you CAN do something about, and knowing what you CANNOT do something about, is the trick.

I guess the point is to make us stronger.
Great expectations cause great sorrows.
If you don't want something or someone you will not be hurt.

There's no point either way.
Life is meaningless. Enjoy it to the full.
