How many people on YA are professional career people with college degrees? I heard someone say just today that only the lower educated people were on yahoo chat room and its programs. Well, I'm a nurse and I want to prove him wrong!

well, I'm not yet in a professional career.
I do have a lot of college credits though and I'm only several classes away from my degree in early childhood education.
I GUESS you could SOURT OF say that I'm in a professional career, I've been working at the same job since I was 16 (A well respected child care center) and I am now 20 (4 years).
I think that theres a good mixture of people on YA. People who have questions and people who have answers dont have to be degree holding citizens or less educated people - I think that YA is just like any other community (very diverse).
I would completely disagree with the person who said that - I didnt find YA through yahoo or chat rooms! I found it when I typed a question into a search engine. One of my options was to click YA.
Its not right of other people to place judgements on things. That was his opinion - and a rude one at that. One that could have been kept to himself.
