I was in a very big change room with lockers everywhere and me and my friend were just chilling, I was in a weird bath tub with him (clothed) and we were just talking and he said very sadly "Time has stopped from me, whether whatever I do now Im going to hell", Then he dissapears suddenly and im suddenly find my self holding a small clock in the palm of my hand (the seconds are going by much slower) and I'm thinking "Time is slowing down for me, and I'm on my way onto hell....", I didn't recall what I said after that but I know I did say something, and the next thing I know im back In the changeroom out of the bathtub and im sitting with my friend and a middle-aged woman probably the age of my motherm comes up to me and says come with me, you don't want to be anywhere near him (meaning my friend), she looks at him in discust and anger, but I refuse and say no and she asks nicely again to come with her but I refuse again and she walks away giving my friend a cold look. Then my friend just looks down and sadly looking upon my face and Im suddenly I'm thinking I have a chance to escape... I still have a chance.. and I suddenly wake up. This is probably the most significant dream I've ever had in my life, and I remember it so well, The darkly lit large changeroom with unknown people in it.. the look of despair on my friends face, and I think about it occasionally. What do you think it means? Any feedback. Thinking about this dream makes me sad and sympathetic , as I remember my friend saying How hes going to hell such sadly.

The 2nd response from my question is very bright and is exactly how I feel. I feel that my friend lacks maturity, and when how I'm thinking of letting him go improve on attributes such as maturity in my own life. I notice things that are self destructive in his lifestyle and attitude. wow great analysis you helped me realise alot.

I believe you when you say that this is a significant dream for you, and seems to be reflective of "changing" attitudes on your part. In a changing room, you change clothes, in dream symbolism, changing clothes is about changing attitudes. Things pertaining to water are of an emotional nature, and a bath is symbolic of purification. In sharing the bath with your friend, it sounds like you are exploring emotional territory pertaining to him. Does it seem to you, as though your friend is a bit slower "growing up"? Like you maybe are becoming more mature, but he isn't, and as a result, do you view his less mature attitudes as destructive, or holding you back? This dream does certainly sound as if you are looking very deeply into your self. It's nice that you are a loyal friend, but do pay attention to things he does, if he is self destructive, don't allow him to take you down also, know when it is appropriate to say no. If you want to be his friend, that's ok, and it's ok to be supportive if he is having problems, but don't allow his lack of maturity to hold you back either, part of growing up is learning where your boundaries are, and learning how to enforce them. It does feel a bit sad, though, I feel a sense of loss that you are moving forward in your life, while he apparently isn't. Maybe he will catch up with you one day, but, I think the motherly woman was a part of your higher self who knows this person might not be good for you, and it might not be in your highest good to continue a relationship with this person. That is a judgement call that you alone can make, you know in reality that no one is truly past redemption in this world until they have died, there is always another chance, if you can get up in the morning...I wish you good luck, you sound intelligent and caring, and I am sure whatever conclusion you come to, you will make the best decisions you can for yourself....
edit: happy you got something out of it....

All the symbolism in your dream has to do with spiritual questioning. The changing or locker room represents private thoughts and issues locked away. The bathtub represents a spiritual immersion, the clock is a warning to watch the time left to you, and the older woman represents an elder or experienced woman in the ways of life who can give you guidance. My guess is that you are concerned about what you and your friend are accomplishing with your lives. You see him as selfish and pleasure seeking, and know that you are here for more than just that. You'd love to stay in the same life you're in (living just for yourself), but you have a greater purpose and responsibility. Your friend is keeping you from being the person you should be. Is he the one who supplies you with the dope?

I think this is a very profound message to you. This story has been told and retold over the time man has been on earth, my own life included. We are warned by people all around us to "be careful who you choose as friends", the Bible says to "guard your heart" among many other references to situations like this. Usually, left to our own devices we coninue to do the same thing we have been doing and we inevitably get into a world of trouble because of our poor choices. One thing that life has taught me and I have learned is that with every choice we make we get a free consequence, like it or not.
Perhaps your are looking to hard here for answers. The truth is, as the first responder indicated and your own description identifies there is only one way out of hell, and if you think your watch was moving slow now in life, imagine what an eternity in hell will be like???
Seek the truth and you will find it. Seek people wiser than yourself, seek people who seem happy and content in their life, but be careful of thos ewho only seem that way because money and success do not equal happiness. People who are humble and live simply, yet are happy and full of life.
Jesus did die you you and me and your friend and amyone else who is willing to seek Him and give your life to Him. He will wash away your sins. Look up John 3:16, 17 for starters and you will get a mere glimpse.
Best of luck and God bless.

Maybe you have a fear of being gay: changing room, sitting with a guy in a bathtub. Then all the negative press about being gay, the guilt, your mother, perhaps. And you fear the self-destructive behavior of some gay men, e.g. bathhouses, promiscuity, etc. For someone with aids, e.g., death is a very slow hell.

Are you going to hell? You don't have to. Jesus Christ died to take your sins away, so that you can go to heaven when you die. Just pray and tell Him that you want to go with Him, that you don't want to go to hell. He will come to live in your heart, and when you die you won't go to hell. Knowing that, you won't have to live in fear, wondering whether you will go to hell or not.
