Hello, just wanted to get in touch with Navy Veterans. I am living in Ohio. I was in the Navy from 1991-2004.

Retired Navy Chief. Served from 1968-1990.

Navy Veteran 1962 to 1964. Served on USS. Ute ATF 76 and the USS Kawishawi A0 146. As part Services Forces Pacific. Also shore duty as part of Flag Allowance Commander Service Forces Pacific. A command that no longer exists. God bless you for serving.

Try going to the following websites and register. I've heard from a few old shipmates this way. Also, got involved with 2 ship associations and FINALLY made a ship's reunion last year.
USS Tutuila ARG-4, USS H.W. Gilmore AS-16, USS LaSalle AGF-3, USS L.Y. Spear AS-16, USS Nimitz CVN-68, CommStore Yokohama, McMurdo Antarctica, 2 tours Dam Neck NTC in Va Beach. NAS Oceana Weps.
S.E. Va here...working with FOREIGN navies.

Do a search for togetherweserved - it's a great site to find old Navy buddies. Much better than the military section on Classmates.

Retired Chief here, ...21 years, 10 months 18 days active duty (1981 - 2002) and loved every second of it. Duty stations were USS Nimitz CVN-68, USS Forrestal CV-59, NAVMAG Lualualei, HI (now NAVMAG Pearl Harbor), Naval Weapons Station Charleston, SC, Mobile Mine Assembly Unit One, Seal Beach, CA, ...plus a bunch of training, class "A" and "C" schools.

You might want to try a web site I've listed as a source below. I made contact with shipmates from the late 1960s.
But wait a week or so. Their home page says they are in a "yard period".
