I am planning to name my 8 week old Malamute Logan.
I also like State names like Indiana, Montana or other surnames like Madison, Kennedy, Chester or Benson.
Can you suggest other strong & proud names like Logan?

Juneau is the Capitol of Alaska you could call him (Juno)
for short.
Considering its an Alaskan Malamute ; )
What about Dakota you could call him Codie or Coda for short.
As for strong names Rosco,
Bear,Barron,Duke,Nico,Tyson,
Brodie,Brutus. Logan's a cool name to

I named my Bernese Mtn Doug puppy "Lou". Big sweet guy.
I have a friend who named a Samoyed Cochise (after the native american chief)... what she didn't know was that the name means "woodcarver" and the dog has a real affinity for chewing wood.

Find a source for eskimo/inuit to english translations. I knew a gal that named a lot of her mals using such a dictionary. Had one named "Kegsuli" which supposedly had something to do with "vicious with teeth" (pronounced KAY-soo-lee). Now....other tough names...."Bronson" or "Segal"....or how 'bout "Peyton"?? OK...yeah....I'm a colts fan....

"lo bo" is great! my answer isn't the strongest, but i had a malamute once, and her name was "nic nac" (as in "give a dog a bone...")...
i like "rogue" too... is it a male or female, btw?
