I am moving in with my bf, his family has 3 dogs. His dogs hates my dog. I have to put my 6 month puppy in the bathroom, so they won't bite him. I feel so bad, but I don't know what else to do.

Find the puppy a new home before he gets hurt.

ETA: Not all dogs will accept a new dog into the pack and not all dogs get along. Are the other dogs intact? The fact that you are having trouble with the dogs says there is no human leadership in the home and if that is the case the best thing to do is re-home the pup before he gets hurt. Do you think it is better to keep the pup confined all the time, even when you are present because of the harm that may come to the pup from the other dogs?

Lets see. A few questions first. How old are his dogs? How long have they been together and do the fight among themselves? Next, the best way to start getting them used to each other would be a 1:1 with the individual dogs, each on a leash of course at first. This could take a bit of time. Another suggestion would be to talk with a dog trainer. They have them at Petsmart or Petco, as well as most dog supply shops. They can be very informative. Puppies can be jumpy and snappy toward an older dog. The older dogs tend to be cranky and not want to put up with it. Also your BF 3 dogs could have a pack mentality and may not be willing to easily add a member. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Put the dogs in connected rooms and they will start adjusting to each others scent. Gradually work them closer together until they don't fight anymore. An older dog might not want to play with a puppy and will snap enough to give it the message.

Dont take the puppy into a home where it can get hurt. Be fair to the puppy, dont endanger him.
Either find a home for the puppy or find a new boyfriend.

Every dog can learn to coexist with other dogs. They're just unfamiliar with your puppy, and they are trying to establish dominance over it.

Carefully monitor play dates for them until they get acquainted.
