Another way is to set out a jar at your local supermarket or drugstore with a label stating what the fundraiser is for. People drop their loose change and sometimes more for good causes. Just be sure and check it often.

What is the fundraiser that the school is holding?

You can check with local businesses (local supermarkets or department stores) to see if they will let you ask for donations outside their doors. Make good signs and get a group of friends to help you. It can be fun and you will be doing a good thing. even if you don't win the prize you will have been doing your part just by trying. Good luck.

With veterans approval a small hotdog stand outside hospitals or walmart, just be sure you get everyones approval, selling anything around a busy place will usually raise money for vets or disabled vets, You could contact local Disabled American Veterans and ask if there is anything you can do to help. Obviously car washes always work, nobody likes washing the car, have a walk athon, danceathon.

When I was in school, we sold See's candy bars door to door--really tasty and they sold pretty well (except to diabetics). Also, if one of your parents works in an office environment, you can send some boxes of candy with them to sell at work. I know that if someone's child is selling candy, I feel less guilty about eating some. :)

Another option is to set up a fundraiser at a restaurant. Many restaurants will hold a fundraising night for various schools or programs, in which 10% of the proceeds (or something like that) from anyone who goes to the restaurant on a particular day goes to that fundraiser.

Good luck!
