Sellers are required to use Standard Shipping (or higher if the customer paid for something faster). Standard Shipping is usually 7 to 10 days but you also have to factor in:
the distance between the seller and the destination; (it could often be less than 7 days if they're close)
if the postal service is overwhelmed for example in a holiday season.

Amazon is pretty GOOD about it's on time Shipping. I've been using it for YEARS (quite regularly) and only ONCE did my package arrive Late (& that was during the Xmas rush- so I wasn't too terribly surprised). In FACT, a fair number of my Orders- actually came EARLIER than Amazon said they would. So their Shipping (on ALL levels) is PRETTY GOOD! :)

It depends on the order; from my experience it takes anywhere between one and two weeks.
