Around 10 years ago i bought a Ruger P94DC. 40 caliber pistol with decocker. It was heavy, bulky, clumsy, not ergonomic at all, BUT it fired accurately every time. I sold the gun for 25 dollars more than i paid for it, I won't ever own another Ruger semi auto pistol, but I'll buy their revolvers any day!

I had the original P series in 9mm. It went back to Ruger twice with a whole list of defects, then I got sick of it and traded it in. I will never own one again.
They are much better now, but still suffer from their slab like bulk.
They offer a good option for the budget minded buyer that wants a range and home gun, but still inferior to a used quality pistol.

I have a P 95 DC with two 15 round magazines and I love it, it has never jammed or misfired in over 1000 rounds and only cost me $295.00 NIB. The most bang for the buck and a reliable weapon.

I liked my P89 when I had it. When I had to sell it I got my money back out of it. The guy I sold it to even knew what I had put the gun through and still loved it. I did put it through pure hell. If the new P guns are built with the same standard then they should be fine as well.

I do not like them...They are bulky. But they are work horses. They will always fire and never jam up. A friend of mine has a p89 and loves it. He got his for $475 new.

They are not the prettiest looking guns, but they are very good for what they are designed to so. They are excellent home defense and combat guns.
