I think I would start by saying "Is everything okay? Lately you have not seemed yourself." and see how things play out from there - think before you speak and be courteous.

If you do talk to your boss, which you really should, you should NOT say, "I notice you are being rude to me". That is flat out unprofessional, and is not going to make you look any better than your boss. Show your boss that you are big enough to talk directly to her and NOT your other co-workers (it WILL get back to your boss if you do that, and that is also very unprofessional). Yes, talk to your boss. Let her know that you feel that there has been some tension lately, and that you want to make sure that she is okay. Then, assure her that you are "here to help" her, and that you want to do everything in your power to make her life easier. Your boss may come clean about a personal problem at home, but either way, it is not going to hurt the situation. It may make your boss realize that she is taking something out on you that has nothing to do with you. Good luck! You will gain her trust if you talk to her directly.

OK, she obviously having a bad day, let her as we all have those, however, the first thing in the morning if things aren't better I'd be in her office asking if there is something I can do to help her. Let her know that you are feeling uncomfortable and would like to help. She can either ask you to leave her office or let you help. Don't take offense if she turns down your offer, just go back to work as normal. You know that you offered your assistance and tried. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Maybe they are just having a crappy day. Don't take it personally if they are being rude to everyone equally. Everyone has bad days.

It really depends on your level of comfortably with her.

Regardless, you don't deserve to be treated badly by management, ever. It's work, not pleasure & you should try to keep it that way. Tell her that her attitude has been effecting all and you'd appreciate it if she could tone it down while at work.
