Most plastic surgeons will give you a free consultation and tell you what it cost and what to expect, typically it can be anywhere form 4-6k for an average nose job, at least that's what it is in my area.

I had a rhinoplasty about 5 years ago which cost about $5,000, which included the aenethesiologists fee. As with any surgical procedure, there is the risk of adverse reaction to the aenesthesia and infection after surgery. I liked the way mine turned out---I had a bump removed and the sides of my nose shaved down to look thinner. They basically broke the bone and took a piece that was the bump out. The total time under the knife was 1.5 hours. The surgery completely changed my profile and fit my face better. I had bruises and my face was swollen for about the first 2-3 weeks, but the nose was completely healed and as strong as it was before surgery about 6 months after the surgery.

Nose job is the most common plastic surgery. A GOOD doctor will fix it in no time, but you'll have at least 3 weeks of bad swelling and it's not fun to go through.
As with any surgery there could be complications, but they are rare.
Cost is $5,000 to $6,000.
If you do this for purely cosmetic reasons, your insurance will not cover it, but if the doctor can show the insurance company that you need it for health reasons (you cannot breath normally or something like that) then the insurance might cover part of the cost.
The best place to do this is in Beverly Hills, CA, of course.

Not Trying To Offend You......And Im Not Trying To Bring Religion Into This.....But I Wish People Would Really Start Loving Themselves And How God Made Us. We Have Got To Stop Listening To What The White Trash Britanny Spears And Media Is Telling Us And Just Be Confident In Ourselves!!!!! Hell.....Im Funny Looking....But I Would NEVER Think Of Augmenting Myself!!! Honestly....Unless Its Medically Related....You Should Just Leave It Alone.....Otherwise You Could End Up Looking Like Michael Jackson And Have Health Issues. Your Nose Is Important!!! Be Proud Of It!!!

I would suggest you watch footage of a rhinoplasty being performed. I guarantee you'll have a whole new appreciation for your nose.
I contemplated a nose job from the age of 14 to 21. By the time a saved enough money for it, I no longer wanted one. I've learned to love my nose. Embrace your physical differences, they are what make you unique.

my sister had a nose job and it was an expensive wasted surgery.. first of all it takes up to a year to fully heel. and for at least a few months after that you have to take serious care of it so it doesnt get infected.. my vote, learn to love yourself the way you are and dont waste your money on something that could potentially go wrong.

Nose job is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Tour2india4health Consultants .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.
Tour2india4health Consultants is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

if you're young, you will grow into it. do you really want to suffer the pain? look at people like owen wilson, sarah michelle gellar, sarah silverman.. they are all still good looking people. it's too expensive and it might not turn out the way you want it. have you ever watched that show "i want a famous face?" one guy got jacked up when he was younger and he went to mtv for help. he still didn't look good.
