blue looks black (better i think) but you must keep a layer of blue on the metal part of the gun like the barrel which is easy just dont take any rust remover to it and the stainless looks like plain metal and you dont have to do anything to it

It would not extremely count extensive type, as long as you sparkling the gun while your performed looking and wipe the barrel with gun oil after words. the prospect of a blued barrel rusting after an afternoon looking is very no longer likely. Ive hunted all day in the rain until now with my 243 which has a blued barrel and in no way had a project with it rusting. Now in case your going to be searching for long sessions of time without cleansing your gun then get a stainless-steel barrel. stainless-steel will rust it only takes longer.

Stainless is better. Blued will rust very easily. You need to keep the gun clean and dry at all times if you buy blued. I use desicants in the cases of all my blued guns to absorb moisture. Overall, if you can go with stainless do it. It's much more durable and less maintenance intensive cause you don't have to worry about it rusting if it gets wet.

My daily carry pistol is a stainless. When you get in and out of a car with the AC on, the condensation builds up on metal, including your sidearm! I spend a LOT less time cleaning a stainless pistol v/s a blued or Tennifer coated one.

If you are going to be in bad weather a lot the stainless will serve you better. If you are in a tactical situation then blue is better. If neither one of those conditions apply then it is down to personal preference.

It is personal preference. I have heard a lot of people say to buy a stainless or two-tone gun for home protection so any intruder can see you have a gun even in darkness. This doesn't mean you cannot buy an all black or blued model for home protection. If you are using the weapon for mainly conceal carry it is better to have a black firearm that is less likely to stick out in a black holster under a coat or shirt.
I have two websites under source to show the difference.

Stainless usually requires a lot less maintenance. And if you are gonna keep it in a car or boat or on you when you a sweating it is less likely to rust.
