It's not a constant pain, more of a dull pain and only bothers me when I'm sitting or if I move a certain way. It feels like my ribs are pushing on something that pops back into place. I've had this problem in the past but it usually doesn't last more than a few days.

My guess is a possible hernia. Hernias can pop out due to some sort of stress by lifting improperly or straining on the toilet. Anyhow, they can also move back in on their own, but there is still a problem in that hernias don't heal without medical help. I suggest that you at least have it looked at because, if it is a hernia, it has the potential to become incarcerated which is potentially fatal. It is always a good idea to see a professional when you have unexplained pain.
Good Luck
