I never thought about it that way. The question before this and this one are both really good.
They are very proud of that fact that they claim to be monotheistic - but maybe that's not really the case :)

not having studied with those human beings plenty and with this point out of polytheism, it may look that there is a sturdy similarity. somewhat, by way of fact the JW's seem to reinterpret the bible in yet differently from others. they say that right that's not a trinity, by way of fact the holy spirit is god's lively stress and not a separate entity. they suspect Jesus replaced into the archangel Michael in heaven and supposedly did not remember his existence in heaven until he replaced into baptized via John. If god is a time focused visitor or interdimensional being, he might have been employing quite a few human and or angelic types to act via additionally. The bible mentions human beings used as mouthpieces at distinctive situations. the ten heads and so on. of the beast can probable characterize a guy or woman with substitute personalities or spirits. The bible mentions the seven spirits of god. Jesus had supposedly solid out seven spirits out of a few female additionally. The Antichrist and or devil might characterize some mockery or virtually same counterfeit device resembling god's. some have faith god is somewhat some great laptop someplace. In some fictional movies we see at present, most of the individuals are performed via one actor which includes Eddie Murphy in a action picture. A time vacationing entity might additionally try this interior the supernatural. do not settle for something by way of fact the entire fact although.

They are theoretical polytheists, but practical monotheists!
In theory, they have two Gods; Jehovah the Almighty God, and Jesus Christ the Mighty God (Isaiah ch 9 & 10). They have God the Father and god the Word (John 1:1 NWT).
In practice, they only worship Jehovah. They don't give a particle of worship to Jesus because they know that would be wrong IF Jesus is a created being (which they insist he is.)
If they could only waken up to the revelation that Jesus is the SAME God as Jehovah, they'd have their ridiculous theology sorted.

Its not polytheistic because god with a lowercase "g" has a different meaning. I've been trying to tell you this for awhile, but it seems like you're having a hard time understanding.
--==curly sue==--
You cannot grasp the understanding of a God and a god. Isn't it obvious to you that Angels and men were all called "gods"?
"god" means someone who expresses divine qualities, or someone who is godlike - not that he is God almighty or another God. It seems like you guys are too afraid to comment on why angels and men were all called gods.

Technically speaking someone is polytheistic if they believe in and follow more than one God. The way they try to salve their conscience, as JR keeps trying to tell us is by saying that Jesus is a god with a little g, as if the use of G or g makes a difference. It still says God, whatever size letter you use, therefore, as they believe in and follow Jesus they are polytheist. They cannot seem to grasp this concept.

Well if you worship Jesus and the Father you are polytheistic.
If you only worship the Father then you are monotheistic.

it's rather irrelevant; Christians want to have it both ways, so why not let them?
the more important part is the myth of only one "true" path, which is inherently impossible. each of us has our own individual path, regardless of the nomenclature.

Monotheistic.
Rejecting the notion of "gods" means rejecting the plain language of the bible itself.
...(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him
Dictionaries define "polytheism" as worship of more than one god. Jehovah's Witnesses have chosen to reserve the English word "worship" to describe a Christian's unique devotion to Almighty God the Father; thus it would seem that Jehovah's Witnesses are quite careful to assure that they will not be perceived as polytheists.
The Scriptures quite plainly show that true worship is uniquely devoted to the person of Almighty Jehovah God the Father. His Son, Jesus, personally taught that Jehovah deserves a unique form of "sacred service".
(Matthew 4:10) Jesus said... ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’
(Luke 4:8) Jesus said... ‘It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service.’
(Exodus 20:5) I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion
The bible teaches that Jehovah has given Jesus extraordinary authority, and so true Christians (such as Jehovah's Witnesses) work to demonstrate their devotion, love, obedience, and obeisance to Jesus. By most definitions, that qualifies as "worship", but (again) Jehovah's Witnesses are careful to draw a distinction between their relative obeisance to Jesus Christ the Son and their unqualified worship of Jehovah God the Father.
(Hebrews 1:3-4) [Jesus] sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in lofty places. So he has become better than the angels
(Matthew 28:18) And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth [by God the Father]
(Acts 2:36) God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you impaled.
(John 3:35) The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.
(Acts 5:31) God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand
(Psalm 2:2-6) The kings of earth take their stand And high officials themselves have massed together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one... Jehovah himself will hold them in derision..., Saying: "I, even I, have installed my king [Jesus]
(Hebrews 1:6) When [God] again brings his Firstborn [Jesus] into the inhabited earth, he says: “And let all God’s angels do obeisance to him.”
Thanks for another opportunity to effectively demonstrate that Jehovah God the Father is a distinct person from Jesus Christ the Son!
