Don't worry about it. Global warming is caused by the variations of heat output of the Sun.

There is nothing you can do to effect global warming.

However if you want to feel like you're doing something, go to Wal-Mart and buy those CF lights for your home. The CEO of wal-Mart believes in global warming, and everyone should do what they can to help Wal-Mart reap huge profits.

OK, you have probably heard a lot of people say that Global Warming is just a natural cycle, and that there's nothing we can do to stop it from occurring. While there is some truth to that (Global Warming is a natural cycle, and it's going to occur no matter what) there's something else out there that's messing up this natural cycle, and is making it like nothing the world has ever seen before. That new factor is human activities. Human activities directly affect the greenhouse effect (which directly affects Global Warming), you see greenhouse gases a natural in the atmosphere to keep us from freezing over, but since the beginning of the industrial age, we (humans) have added excess greenhouse gases into the atmosphere that aren't suppose to be there (and the more we add the harder it is for the earth to remove them). These excess gases trap more heat and release less causing the whole earth to heat up (a.k.a. Global Warming) this is NOT good because the slightest change in the earth's climate systems can affect the entire thing. Causing new climate patterns to emerge that we may not be able to adapt to (and about 1/3 to 2/3 of the worlds species as well).

But there is still hope. We currently have all of the technology, money, man power, and resources we need to EFFECTIVLEY slow Global Warming back down to its modest warming over thousands of years.

To get more information, evaluate your daily impact, and to find out how you can start reducing your daily impact (cheaply) go to climatecrisis.org and/or think.mtv.com and/or nasa.gov and/ or http://liveearth.msn.com/green/myths

And if this still isn't working for you then I have a question for you. In about 30 years (if humans haven’t decide to change our ways, go green, and slow down the effects of Global Warming to its natural rate) and the effects of Global Warming have set in so far that there's nothing we can do or any one after us can do to reverse what WE have done, and my children/grandchildren and you children/grandchildren have to live with the horrible effects What are you going to say? What are you going to say when they ask you, "What were you thinking? Why didn't you do anything?"

Of course we should act now. There are people who are already doing their part and to them i give credit. Even if people who deny the existence of global warming are right (doubt it) you cant deny the fact that things we are doing harm to our atmosphere adn that is not a natural progression. This is serious and if it continues we wont be around to debate global warming cause we might all end up with skin cancer. (my father has it) The o zone layer is something we need to protect and everyone can do their part

Even if we did, nothing would happen. Global warming is a natural cycle that has happened for millions of years. Man has nothing to do with it. The sun is getting warmer and other planets are experiencing "global warming" as well.

There is no such thing as global warming. There is global climate change, but we are not able to stop that. You could try watching The Great Global Warming Swindle

many people who have answered this question don't believe in global warming, to them I have to say get a clue!

We should start NOW. We can start by recycling, and conserving energy whenever possible. Just do a google search on both terms to learn how.

We have to stop being short sighted.

Ever seen the movie "Clerks"? People who believe in global warming are like those in the Quick Stop throwing cigarettes at Dante and calling him a cancer merchant. Global warming does not exist and all who believe in it are easily swayed.

Nope because it isn't real. Yes I'll help enviroment but not because I think there is such a thing as global warming. Just because we should take care of the enviroment but not because of that. So I'll just sit back and enjoy those of you freaking out about something that doesn't exist, and that you didn't take the time to research. :)

It would be pointless to do anything becasue we are not the casue of Global warming. It is just the trend of the planet. It is always warming or cooling.
