It is true that God will judge sin. He is perfect and must judge those who break His perfect law. But He has made a loving provision for us to be reconciled to Him through His son, Jesus Christ. People are always painting a false picture of God! These are people who do not know God. The Bible says that God is love! All who know God know this is true.

Coz He's our God.
Even we sometimes get too judgemental, what's more the God.

Because he's a jerk... How could he keep free will in line otherwise?

"Um, sir, the humans are acting up again"
"What? Crap, back to the drawing board. Call in Delores, we need to think up a new cover story"
"God, you're not the boss of me!"
"AND GET RID OF MELTY DAMMIT!"

Melty Blood; Tale Of The Blood Liar, Through the looking glass.

Still doesn't have a tail FYI

Of course, he is Judge... but He is also your Heavenly Father God. The reason for the administering of His judgments in the role as your Father is because He loves you; the judgments are merely God abiding to "Spiritual Laws" that serve to protect you from danger, harm and death. As our Father, and we as His unruly and disobedient children (goodness is "taught", it is not "inborn"), when we violate these Spiritual Laws then our actions put ourselves in great danger and our very lives and souls in severe jeopardy. It is our violation of these laws (made for our "protection") that FORCES Father God to rule a judgment in the matter. It is entirely based from our own actions, not His. We produce the negative ramifications which is why "the wages of sin is death."

Here are two simple analogies:

You want to defy the laws of gravity and jump off a 1,000 feet high cliff because you want to fly.

Father God doesn't want you to jump off a 1,000 feet high cliff because you will disobey the laws of gravity and you will die.

You want to defy the laws of electricity and put your finger in an electric socket.

Father God doesn't want you to put your finger in an electric socket because you will disobey the laws of electricity and you will die.

Now, simply apply this concept to the ramifications of violating Spiritual Laws and Principles, say engaging in promiscuous sex, stealing, idol worshipping, murder, sorcery, hatred, unforgiveness, cheating, lieing, drunkenness, and so on. Outside of physiology, have you ever wondered what are the real “spiritual” implications as to “why” people attract to themselves certain diseases, say, cancer? Could it be the “transference” of demonic spirits associated with certain sinful behavior? Think about it.

Because he is perfect and he alone is the standard by which we will be judged. He created us and he alone has the right to decide how we are to behave and what our purpose is.

If God were not judgemental, there would be no justice in this life or in the world to come and evil would have free reign to steal, kill, and destroy with impunity and no fear of retribution.

Why are non-believers so judgemental of God?

god isnt, the bible says that god has no form. without a brain nothing can form an opinion... it's people that have set up a system of right and wrong. the problem with that is no one will ever agree what is right and what is wrong.... hence, that is why this world has seen so many wars, oppression, violance, racism, genocide, suicide bombings... and so on and so on.
