I'd say you probably have poor technique,DOMS or delayed onset muscle soreness is caused by micro tears in the muscle, which when repaired causes growth, your ether working out wrong or without enough intensity.

Do you warm up before you exercise and do cool down stretches afterward? Both of these can decrease the amount of pain you feel after you exercise which is why it is recommended that you do them. Also, the type of exercises and the length of time that you do them all play a role. Furthermore, how often do you adjust your exercises routine? If you do the same routine every week for months or years you will get used to it and you will find that the amount of soreness you experienced when you first began the routine has decreased significantly. Along with the degree of difficulty.

Define "like crazy". Are you jumping up and down, acting like a monkey? Probably not going to work.
Find out proper exercises, do them with a HEAVY weight (when you fatigue at 12 to 15 repetitions), do 3 sets, train your muscle groups separately (giving each group a minimum of 48 hours recovery) and you will feel sore.

"no pain, no gain" isn't necessary. pain is your body's way of saying something's wrong. you don't say how you work out, but you don't have to be sore afterwards for the workout to be good.
