I believe my Lord Jesus Christ is my Saviour, and that i will go to heaven when i die. But i really like the thought of nature and the earth being intune with everything. I believe nature is God's form of teaching us many life lessons and that we should love and cherish it. Animal too, i am a animal lover and think that we are equal w/ them... i believe in astrology and horoscopes. is this wrong? is there a pecific relegion that is called what i am discribing? As the Bible been transformed over the years? What is the original text of the bible?

I don't think there's anything wrong with the path you follow. Ultimately spirituality and belief is a personal, individual thing, even if you choose to believe only what somebody has told you to believe, you still make that choice.

Most Wiccans take a very personal approach to their faith. Some acknowledge the God and Goddess as real gods while others see them as nothing but a personification of the great opposing forces in the universe from which life springs. Others worship ony the Goddess while denying the God, while yet others do not subscribe to any part of the mythology, but still see themselves as Wiccans because they share the philosophy of respect for nature, personal growth through ritual and magick, etc.

As to the bible: While it has huge value in terms of heritage, culture and philosophy, you have to realise, that it was composed by and for man. The bible only really came into existence about 500 years after Christ when the emperor Constantine forced all the different Christian groups into a room together and told them to come up with a single religion he could use to stabilise the Roman Empire with. Hundreds of books that could have been in the bible were left out for this or that political reson or because it didn't go with "the message" they wanted to send, and eventually these books were destroyed and the people who still followed them labelled heretics and burnt at the stake.

If you really want to go back to the source texts, you need to try and get your hands on ALL the books of the bible. Major sources are the Dead Sea scrolls and the Nag Hammadi library that contains what was saved of Gnostic Christianity. You should also try and look at the Apocrypha, which are books not included in the bible but still regarded canon, and then the Pseudepigrapha, which are generally regarded as myths, usually because they contradict the main bible in some way.

There are a number of Christo-Pagan groups. There are some Christians and some Pagans who don't approve of them, but they're out there nonetheless. However, given what you've described here, you could also be a Unitarian Universalist. There are some Christians who would agree with you on the need to be closer to Nature. There are Christian ecologists and environmentalists, and many who work for animal rights. Our local Episcopal church, for instance, has an animal rights group. Your beliefs may also fit in well with Unity, which is a different thing than the Unitarian Universalists. The Unity Church is very accepting of different beliefs, and often attracts people who respect nature.

Why call yourself Wiccan? Wiccans follow polytheistic gods. Do you? it doesn't appear that you do. Christians follow Christ, which you clearly state that you do. God is /everything/ in Christianity. There's no problem with viewing nature as a good thing in Christianity, and it certainly doesn't require you to be Wiccan. Astrology likewise is not specifically Wiccan (and was continued in Europe for centuries by Christians).

You fit the most basic definition of Christian: you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior.

They don't really go together, there are many text in the bible sayign thsoe who choose wiccan ways will go to hell. I can provide some if some ignorant people choose to disagree.

What it sounds like to me is that you want to be wiccan but you fear burning in hell for eternity. Thats why I don't like the christian religion, its one based on fear and the motive is stick wtih me or you burn forever, little evil i think in the end.

Do a search on Yahoo groups for Christian Wicca. There is a group that you might be interested in joining that would answer your question better than I.

Christian Wiccan is a false term. It should be labeled as christian mysticism. Wicca has a definitive set of beliefs that do not correspond with christianity.
