I truly find the concept of a devil to be preposterous.
and it's "drugs are" not "drugs is." I do find poor grammer to be lamentable.

the devil didn't create drugs. but he definitely plays on our desires to use them and therefore have them destroy our lives. but in the end it is still our choice.
