I am very happy and very content. Course, I wish I had more time for scuba diving...but that's on my list.
Honestly, I am very happy and content with my beliefs. When I became an atheist, I could actually feel a weight lifted from my shoulders. Now I can appreciate the world, cultures and the environment without constantly questioning my Christian beliefs. I can open my mind and freely seek knowledge without fear of the answers.

As a new atheist, I am very happy, and content! I do not worry about what is a sin, and what is not! The Bible is full of stupid taboos, and dumb rules that make no sense, and that take away personal freedom, and choice!
Don't do this, don't do that! this is wrong! That is wrong! No! NO! NO!
I just go fed up! If everything in the world is bad? Then what is the point, and why bother doing anything?
Now I am free, free, free, and it is great!

Actually, I'm rather annoyed that a lot of wealthy, influential people are trashing the environment, the economic system and the social contract for the sake of their own comfort and security. (Many of them, I note, are "Christians.") So I am not exactly content. I have to find more effective ways of generating a sense of interdependence and shared responsibility in humanity. Too many of them expect "God" to pick up after them.

An Atheist loves himself and his fellow man instead of a god. An Atheist accepts that heaven is something for which we should work now -- here on earth -- for all men together to enjoy. An Atheist accepts that he can get no help through prayer, but that he must find in himself the inner conviction and strength to meet life, to grapple with it, to subdue it and to enjoy it. An Atheist accepts that only in a knowledge of himself and a knowledge of his fellow man can he find the understanding that will help to a life of fulfillment

Compared to the discontent I felt living my life as a "christian" from the age of 7 until serious doubt set in at about age 28, I am VERY content. Trying to understand the "mysterious" ways of a god I didn't understand, praying for things that never came, living as someone I'm not to please a god (and parents), waiting for answers that never came, being told not to question, to "have faith"....hmm....yep, I think I'll take my life now, thanks!

happier then before,I am an ex god believer.I do not have to

Sure... Why wouldn't I be? Does the fact that I don't cling onto something that offers hope and reward for common decent behavior really mean I can't be happy? Why can't I be a decent human being just because it's the right thing to do?
I couldn't imagine being happy if I had to "force" myself to be decent so I didn't have to burn in hell.

Yes, I love life. And because I don't believe there's anything else at the end of it I make the most of what I've got here and appreciate everything as much as I can. And yes, I'm very content, thanks.

For the most part, yes. I'd have to say that I'm much more content then when I was a christian, especially as things make much more sense.

Honestly, I'm never content. I'm always striving for more, and sometimes I'm not happy, but I can assure you that having an invisible sky fairy to cry to wouldn't make a bit of difference.
