God realized in the OT He would have to come down here ...
He found there was no intercessor between God & man.
so He did ... He came to earth in the body of Jesus Christ.

God always knew that He would "have to come down here"- that is why Jesus came to earth to die for our sins. He did not come to earth to condemn us, but to save us.

No, he did not. God is not UP THERE, he is right beside you and always has been. God is omni-present. This means he is everywhere, all the time. There is no "down there" to God.
